Following almost 10 years in Dubai and Eastern Europe as a Director of Cost and Project Managers for Davis Langdon, Peter left the firm in August 2009 to establish his own practice, operating under the name of Peter Evans.

Peter has gained vast experience of the construction industry in the Middle East over his 35-year career, during the course of which he has lived and worked in Lebanon, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt and, most recently, the UAE.

Before taking up his role with Davis Langdon, Peter was principal of UK based quantity surveyors Evans Watson (1990-1999) and a director for London property developers Rossmore Limited (1986-1990).

From 1978 to 1986 Peter lived in Saudi Arabia running his own practice under the name of Evans Associates, which acted mainly on behalf of major contractors in tender preparation, risk analysis, and contract administration.

Until 1978, Peter worked with international quantity surveyors D G Jones & Partners, based in Beirut and operating throughout the Middle East. During that time he established the company’s offices in Muscat, Riyadh and London, working his way from the position of quantity surveyor to equity partner.
